Privacy Policy
Last updated: June 21, 2026
This Privacy Policy explains how Ironstone, Inc. ("Ironstone," "we," "us," "our") collects, uses, and protects information when you visit ironstonecap.com or interact with us through the site.
Information we collect
We collect only the information necessary to respond to your inquiry and operate the site.
Information you provide. When you submit the contact form, we collect your name, company, email address, the inquiry type you select, and the content of your message. If you reach our deal team directly via email, we collect whatever you choose to share.
Information collected automatically. We collect standard server log data and aggregate analytics (browser type, device type, referring source, pages visited, approximate geographic region from IP). We do not use third-party advertising trackers or cookies that follow you across other sites.
How we use information
We use the information you provide to:
-Respond to your inquiry, including investor, sourcing, press, and general communications
-Maintain internal records of inquiries and follow-up correspondence
-Improve the site and our communications
We do not sell, rent, or share your personal information with third parties for marketing purposes. We may share information with our service providers (email infrastructure, document storage, professional advisors) only to the extent necessary to operate.
Data retention
We retain inquiry information for as long as reasonably necessary to maintain the business relationship and meet our legal and regulatory obligations.
Your choices
You may request that we delete the information you submitted by emailing privacy@ironstonecap.com. We will respond within thirty days. Note that we may need to retain certain information to meet legal, regulatory, or recordkeeping requirements.
Cookies and similar technologies
The Site uses cookies and similar tracking technologies (collectively, "cookies") to operate, secure, and improve the Site. A cookie is a small text file that a website places on your device. We use cookies in the following categories:
Strictly necessary cookies. Required for the Site to function — including session management, security (CSRF protection), and form submission. These cannot be disabled and do not require consent.
Functional cookies. Remember your preferences such as language and region. Disabling them may degrade your experience on the Site.
Analytics cookies. Help us understand how visitors use the Site in aggregate — pages viewed, time on page, referring source, and approximate geographic region. We use first-party analytics and do not share visitor-level data with third-party advertisers. Analytics cookies are non-essential and you may opt out as described below.
Marketing or advertising cookies. We do not currently use third-party advertising cookies or cross-site tracking technologies on the Site.
How to manage cookies. Most browsers allow you to refuse cookies, accept cookies, or delete cookies through your browser settings. You may also be able to manage your preferences for non-essential cookies through any cookie consent banner that appears on the Site. Note that disabling strictly necessary cookies will prevent the Site from functioning properly.
For more information about cookies generally, including how to disable them in your browser, see allaboutcookies.org.
Security
We use reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards to protect the information we collect. No method of transmission over the internet is one hundred percent secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
Children
The site is not directed to individuals under eighteen. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under eighteen.
Notice to California residents
This section applies to natural persons who are California residents and supplements the rest of this Privacy Policy. We provide it whether or not we are formally a "business" under the California Consumer Privacy Act ("CCPA") and the California Privacy Rights Act ("CPRA").
Categories of personal information collected. In the past twelve months, we have collected the following categories of personal information from California residents who interact with the Site:
-Identifiers — name, email address, company name
-Commercial or professional information — the inquiry type you select and the substance of your message
-Internet or other electronic activity information — server logs, browser and device information, and aggregate analytics signals as described above
-Geolocation data — approximate geographic region inferred from IP address
We do not collect Social Security numbers, driver's license numbers, financial account numbers, government-issued identification numbers, precise geolocation, biometric information, health information, or other categories of "sensitive personal information" through the Site.
Sources of information. Directly from you when you submit the contact form or email us, and automatically from your browser and device when you access the Site.
Purposes of collection and use. As described in the "How we use information" section above — responding to inquiries, internal recordkeeping, communicating with you, and operating and improving the Site.
Categories of third parties to whom information may be disclosed. Service providers acting on our behalf — including email infrastructure providers, document storage providers, and professional advisors — only to the extent necessary to operate. We do not sell or share personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising.
No sale or sharing. We do not sell personal information, and we do not share personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising, as those terms are defined under the CCPA and CPRA. Because we do not sell or share, we do not provide a "Do Not Sell or Share My Personal Information" link.
Retention. As described in the "Data retention" section above.
California residents' rights. If you are a California resident, you have the following rights, subject to verification:
-Right to know. Request information about the categories and specific pieces of personal information we have collected about you, the categories of sources, the purposes of collection, and the categories of third parties to whom we disclosed it.
-Right to delete. Request that we delete personal information we have collected from you, subject to legal and regulatory exceptions.
-Right to correct. Request that we correct inaccurate personal information we maintain about you.
-Right to opt out of sale or sharing. Not applicable because we do not sell or share, as noted above.
-Right to limit use of sensitive personal information. Not applicable because we do not collect sensitive personal information.
-Right to non-discrimination. We will not discriminate against you for exercising any of your CCPA / CPRA rights.
How to exercise rights. Email privacy@ironstonecap.com with the subject line "California Privacy Request." We will acknowledge receipt within ten business days and respond substantively within forty-five days, with the possibility of a one-time forty-five-day extension where reasonably necessary. We may need to verify your identity before responding, which may include confirming information you previously provided.
Authorized agents. You may designate an authorized agent to make a request on your behalf by providing the agent with written permission signed by you. We may require the agent to submit proof of authorization and may require you to verify your identity directly with us.
Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The "Last updated" date at the top reflects the current version. Continued use of the site after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
